Background

The Sri Sathya Sai Anandam Foundation of The Netherlands is a non-political, non-profit organisation with a spiritual core and base, founded under the guidance and inspiration of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The foundation has been formed, and is used, for the sole benefit of helping mankind. It is a global spiritual movement promoting the practice of human values and providing opportunities to participate in service activities.

It is a multi-faith organisation drawing people from all walks of life and all spiritual paths and religions. There is no distinction or separateness of any religion, race, nationality, caste, creed or sect.

Goal
The Spiritual Foundations of the Sri Sathya Sai Anandam Foundation of The Netherlands consist of the following principles:

1. To establish Truth, Righteousness, Peace, Divine Love and Non violence.

2. To propagate and practice these five values.

3. To propagate the truth of the unity of all religions and philosophies.

Main points of the policy:

The foundation seeks to achieve its objective by, within the applicable legal limits:

a. Setting up and maintaining a library on all religions, philosophical and spiritual contents;

b. Organizing lectures, worship services, spiritual gatherings by celebrating specific holidays and putting into practice selfless service;

c. Organizing all these activities in the broadest sense that can contribute in promoting the objectives described above, of the Community Foundation;

d. Cash to be received through donations, funds, testamentary disposition, bequest, donation or gift or other benefit, without any form of fundraising and non-profit.
